Acne Scar Subcision

Depressed acne scars can be improved with subcisions. In this procedure, a sharp instrument is used to break up the firm scar tissue that tethers the skin surface to the underlying tissue. The surface of the skin is thus released from being bound to the bottom.

Botox Treatment

Botox treatment has become increasingly popular as an option that improves the look of the skin and reduces the aging lines on the face without the need to undergo more invasive surgical procedures. It costs much less than invasive surgical procedures.

Chemical Peel

Chemical peels come in different types and strengths. Some of the more common peels include salycilic acid, glycolic acid, and trichloroacetic acid. Chemical peels are often performed to improve the overall texture and evenness of the skin. Some peels even help reduce acne.

Injectable Fillers

Leg Vein Removal

Small superficial leg veins, such as spider veins, can be treated with a procedure called sclerotherapy. In this procedure, a fine needle is used to inject a medicine that seals up existing veins, eventually eliminating the vein. Treatment may take multiple sessions.

Lipoma Removal

Lipomas are non-cancerous growths of fatty tissue that can occur anywhere on the skin. Removal of lipomas involves a simple surgical excision followed by closing of the skin edges with sutures ("stitches"). The entire procedure is performed under local anesthesia.

Milia Extraction

Milia are tiny white cysts that commonly develop on the face. They can be easily removed with a minor procedure that pops the cyst out of the skin. The procedure is typically painless and fast. Special efforts are made to minimize any potential scarring.

Benign moles can be removed with a small surgical procedure. The exact method of removal depends on the depth and size of mole as well as the location. Once the mole is removed, the skin may be closed with sutures if needed. At WSD, we make special efforts to close the skin in a way.

Scar Revision

Scar revision is a procedure that improves the appearance of an unsightly scar. Scar revision can be performed with lasers or with standard surgical excision and repair. Laser scar revision takes multiple treatment sessions for the best outcome. It is less invasive than standard surgery.

Skin tags are non-cancerous growths of the skin, most commonly found on the neck, armpit, back,body folds,upper trunk and groin. Skin tags are often a cosmetic nuisance to people and can be easily removed. The procedure is quick, safe, and there is no recovery time.
